Connecting to Culture Toolkit

A toolkit guiding respectful engagement with First Nations People.
Snapshot

The Connecting to Culture Toolkit helps non-First Nations-owned tourism businesses build respectful and collaborative connections with First Nations people and communities.

Developed with the ATIC First Nations Reference Group, which includes First Nations representatives from across Australia, the Connecting to Culture Toolkit provides clear guidance for businesses to authentically, responsibly, and inclusively.

With the Connecting to Culture Toolkit, businesses can confidently navigate cultural, community, and environmental considerations, ensuring tourism practices honour First Nations perspectives and knowledge.

The Connecting to Culture Toolkit is supported by our national marketing partner, Tourism Australia.
