International Ready Accreditation recognises businesses that have appropriate business practices to work within the international travel distribution system.
Businesses must meet the required business standards by undertaking the assessments within the Online Trade Distribution and International Trade Distribution programs. When a business meets these standards, they will be issued with the corresponding brandmark logo.
Businesses go through two comprehensive self-assessments that reviews and evaluates the digital experience of the customer throughout the visitor journey. Additionally, businesses are required to assess their practices and knowledge regarding online international trade distribution channels and requirements.
Once these self-assessments are completed, a business will receive a detailed report, outlining areas of business improvement. These areas of business improvement are outlined and ordered by priority, guiding businesses with clear and practical steps needed to develop their product distribution and grow their business. In certain states/territories, a mentor can be appointed as part of this process. Please contact your State/Territory Tourism Industry Council to confirm if this is available in your region.
